So these last 19 weeks have been rather anxious ones but with each successive ‘all good’ scan I have started to believe more and more that we were actually going to be having a baby in April next year.
Finally today, the final hurdle (in my mind) – the 19 week scan. And Baby Exeter passed with flying colours. Jaden has been wanting a baby sister ever since his cousin Nikki got a baby sister so he is going to be absolutely thrilled.
Thank you everyone for all your lovely wishes and moral support to this point. And thank you to my twitter friends Nicky and Alison who are at the same stage of pregnant as I am. They would have no idea, but whenever I would start getting down and pessimistic and thinking “as if this pregnancy is going to go the distance” I would go on twitter and chat with them and they would get me back to feeling excited about the pregnancy and not anxious.
So now … Bring on the next 20 weeks and please pray for me that this little girl doesn’t come out with as big a head as her brother did!

I had a little girl in September, and she is the light of our lives, her big brother (Mr 2.5) simply adores her, it is the most wonderful thing to have one of each… I understand the anxious feeling, but with each week that passes it gets less and less, with the last few weeks being so unbelievably exciting… Good luck and enjoy every moment you can!!
